I wrote a blog post called Daily face a few weeks ago and it is currently one of my most popular posts to date. I decided, due to a number of readers I attracted, to share a quick five-minute makeup look with all of you. My daily face takes around 15 minutes but, as a student, I’m usually in a rush and don’t have long to do my makeup.
This is a quick look that I tend to do whenever I’m running a bit late but still want to look refreshed and awake. This takes around about five minutes for me to do, the products I use are the same as the products I share in my daily face post.
Skin Therapy Light Hydrating Moisturiser
This is a product I can’t mention enough. It’s a lovely hydrating product that feels light on my skin, creating a nice base for my makeup. I put this on after washing my face every morning.
Barry M Flawless Colour Correcting Primer
I’m running low on this product and not entirely sure whether I’ll be purchasing it again. Before this, I used a Rimmel Primer but neither product holds my makeup on as long as I’d like, and they both feel rather heavy on my skin.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
If I’m in a big rush, I skip foundation and go straight on to concealer. I tend to do this anyway if I’m having a good skin day but, if I’m not and I don’t have time to do my concealer, I’ll just use a bit more than I usually would. I use my beauty blender to blend this in.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Before this, I used the Collection loose powder but find a pressed powder to be a lot better as less product is put on my brush. The brush I use is the Real Techniques Powder Brush.
ELF Blush Kit in Fiji
I swish a bit of blush on my cheeks to give them a hint of colour using my Real Techniques Blush Brush.
Collection Eyebrow Kit
I used my ELF elements brow brush to quickly comb through my brows, then use my eyebrow kit to give my eyebrows some shape. As I do my eyebrows almost daily, it takes me less than a minute to do my eyebrows.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
After curling my eyelashes, I’ll use my mascara to make myself look more awake.
I say lip products as it all depends on what I use. I usually use the Lush lip scrub in bubble gum with a bit of Carmex but, depending on how I’m feeling, I either put a bit of lipstick on or leave it natural. If I use lipstick, the GOSH Liquid Matte Lipstick in nougat crisp is my go to.
