VO5 Sea Salt Spray
I have thick hair that is naturally very messy, so the easiest thing for my to do daily is to straighten it. I’ve been looking for a product to give it a bit of volume and texture for a while, so my hairdresser recommended this spray. I bought two bottles and, although I’m going to give it another try, I find it to be too sticky and doesn’t give my hair any volume. It feels like what your hair feels like after you spray hairspray on it closer than needed, it clumps together and gets all matted. If anyone can recommend a good product for me, please message me! It’ll be greatly appreciated!
Barry M Flawless Colour Correcting Primer
I’m still using this although the product is almost empty. It feels too thick on my skin and hardly keeps my makeup on for a few hours, let alone for the day. My skin feels too matte after using it, as though all my pores have been clogged up. Again, if anyone can recommend a good primer, let me know!
Rimmel London Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara
This is one I bought a few years ago and, I thought it was so useless, I bought another bottle just in case I got a bad one. This product had absolutely no effect on my lashes whatsoever. I’m not a fan of the Rimmel mascaras but love their face makeup.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara
Such a disappointing product. I bought this one last Christmas and, for the price, I was expecting a high-quality product. Disliked everything about it and, after asking friends who had also used it, found out that it wasn’t a very popular product among them either.
MUA Eyeshadow Palette Heaven and Earth
For £4, I wasn’t expecting a lot from this product but saw that a few people were raving about it online, so I thought I’d give it a go. I was extremely disappointed. Not as much as I was with the Benefit mascara as it’s a very cheap product. It hardly stayed on, even with primer applied, and the colors weren’t very matte. I had to really dig my brush in to get enough product. The eyeshadows also hurt my eyes, causing them to be rather itchy. I’m not allergic to MUA products as I use their blush which I love, but I could tell this was a very cheaply made product.
