If you haven’t already checked out my daily face post, then be sure to go and give that a bit of love before you read this one! I wouldn’t consider this post to be a challenge of such but, personally, I had to give a bit of thought as to what products I’d include in this blog post. If I could use only five products for my daily face, what would I use and what wouldn’t I use?
As you all know, I have a lot of beauty favorites so found it rather difficult to pick just five products. Five products isn’t a lot at all and, while I’m writing this, I’m actually going to try wearing only five products on my face. For me, this doesn’t include makeup brushes, moisturizers, and lip balm as those are the bare essentials for me every morning.
Collection Eyebrow Kit in Brunette
How could I not include my little eyebrow kit? Doing my eyebrows every day is a must for me as I have been blessed with very light/patchy eyebrows that never grow, so my eyebrow kit is a necessity. I love this one from Superdrug as it is very cheap and high in quality. It comes with a little gel to run through your brows once you have filled them.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Again, I feel as though this mascara would add a lot of difference to my face in the mornings. Mascara has a way of opening up and brightening the eyes, instantly making you look more awake. I have raved about this wonderful mascara before. It’s been my favourite for years now and, despite turning to the Benefit Mascara, I found that I couldn’t find a mascara anywhere to beat this one.
Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer
My skin isn’t perfect, shocker. I still suffer from blemishes every now and then, and constantly live in a state of having bags under my eyes (I’m a law student, what do you expect?), but my skin is a lot better than it was in my early to mid-teens. This concealer is by far my favourite. It’s a basic blogger favourite, extremely cheap, and also comes in shades for colour correcting.
Rimmel Pressed Powder
I always use this powder to just dust over my skin, setting my concealer and removing any shiny areas on my face. I dislike using loose powder as I find it looks patchy and flaky on my skin. This Rimmel powder is a favourite of mine due to the quality and the price.
NYX Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie in Bustier
This lipstick is my current go-to. I usually feel naked and plain without a bit of lipstick, and this little gem is a beautiful neutral tone that allows me to feel refreshed and more confidence.
