Why I started blogging

First off, I want to apologize for not blogging as much these past few days, I’ve had very little motivation to get to writing and didn’t want to give you something that was done with only half a heart.
Secondly, I want to thank you all so much for helping me reach 1,000 views last week as well as 100 followers! This figure has already increased over the weekend and I am so proud of it. Never would I have thought that my blog would become kind of a success. I’m looking forwards to growing it even more over the next few months, perhaps I’ll do a blog post on what I hope to achieve before Christmas?
Today’s post is going to be about why I started my blog. I started my blog on the 26th June, 6 days after my 20th birthday and, although I’ve had a blog before, I was determined to make this one stick. When I first started it, it was to be a small summer project to keep me busy and preoccupied but, little did I know, I’d actually grow a lovely little audience, as well as become an affiliate to some brands. It’s very exciting stuff!
I’ve always loved writing. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a writer and, although I’m now looking for a future in law, I still want to continue my writing, hopefully getting a book published. I’ve been working on a book recently and, who knows, maybe I’ll turn it into an e-book for all of you!
Starting this blog was a way to get me to keep the creative side of me happy. I love being able to design the look of my website, snap photos to match my posts as well as interact with the blogging community, whom I absolutely love.
Why did you start blogging? What aspects of blogging, if any, do you dislike?

  1. I enjoy writing, I was good at school… I wanted a new challenge and keep improving my English so I started an English blog 🙂
