Captured.

I’ve always been into photography, even if it was snapping a few pictures on my old brick phone, I loved to take as many photos as possible, capturing memories and special moments to treasure forever.

My dad bought me my first ever camera for my twenty-first birthday in June and, ever since, I’ve been practising and really trying to get used to the new piece of technology in my life. Having a camera has already brought me so much joy, whether it’s taking photos of my dogs or going out on walks and taking pictures of my surroundings, it’s a hobby that really calms me down whenever I’m feeling stressed. Not only that, it’s also useful when it comes to taking pictures for my blog which have vastly improved over the past few months.

I decided to create a new Instagram account, hannncaptures_, to share all my photos and encourage myself to continue with my hobby. It’ll give me something to look back on, as well as motivate other young photographers to get out there and capture the moment.

We went out on a walk to the woods last night and I brought my camera along, taking photos of everything around me and really feeling like I was doing what I was meant to be doing. I absolutely love photography and nothing beats putting in your headphones or chatting to a friend and taking some shots.
