I’ve been really getting into my makeup recently and, after purchasing the NARS foundation a few months ago, I want to grow my collection and swap out a few products for more high-end brands. I’ve been having a look in stores and online, and decided to comprise a list of all the makeup I currently have my eye on!
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
I’ve been in love with this palette since the dawn of time (and since my friend Samantha let me borrow hers), and the temptation to buy it every time I get paid is strong. The colours are absolutely beautiful and right up my street, as I opt for subtle makeup looks that are very natural. I am currently using a Revolution palette which, although I love, can’t beat the gorgeous shades that Urban Decay offer. I bought my bestie the Naked Heat palette for her birthday last year and, from what I’ve heard, it’s of high quality and lasts all day.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I took to Instagram a few weeks ago asking my followers whether this mascara was any good, and all the responses were raving about this product. I’ve seen reviews online and heard people describe it as the best mascara around. I’m currently using the L’Oreal million lashes mascara and before that stuck to my trusty Maybelline lash sensation, but have wanted to switch things up. I used the Benefit mascara a few years ago and didn’t really take to it, but I desperately want to give this one a go!
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
I’ve been loving the NARS foundation and have even convinced my bestie to go buy it after she tried (and loved) mine. I’ve wanted to try the concealer that matches though I am a little hesitant as the concealer I’m using (collection) has been in my makeup bag for years. Almost every blogger in the UK uses this concealer, so swapping it out for one that’s WAY more expensive is definitely a risk but I want to give it a go. Some big YouTubes opt for this, especially when using the NARS foundation as they compliment each other, so I think it’s about time I switch things up!
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Again one of my besties let me try this for a night out and, despite the snow and all the dancing, my makeup refused to budge. It has a slight vodka smell to it (tell me if I’m wrong) but it is incredible! I’ve used a few setting sprays before and this one didn’t feel heavy, I didn’t feel as though my pores were clogged, and my skin was left looking flawless. Although it was a little shiny, after putting on a little more powder, I was ready to go!
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick
I popped into John Lewis the other day and was having a browse at the CT lipsticks, as I’ve heard so many great things about them. There is such a wide range of beautiful shades that I couldn’t possibly pick out a favourite. I’m going to go back and have a little swatch in a few weeks and hopefully purchase one (or three). They are supposedly incredibly pigmented and last for hours at a time, not needing to be touched up every hour on the dot.
Also I’m on the hunt for a good powder so please leave your suggestions below!
